Great Irish Food at Green & Baker


Our approach is simple.​  Our food focus is on local, in-season produce picked at the peak of ripeness and quality so availability is dependent on Mother Nature.  Using ingredients at their peak allows us to capture the essence of the season and bring it straight to the table.  


We look for food that stands out from the rest - from where it originates, to the way it is produced and for its flavour. Because of this, we want to tell you more about it... 




Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and we couldn’t agree more! So, to give you a real Irish breakfast, we’ve gone the extra mile to find locally sourced, fresh produce that makes a good breakfast great.


Our quality Irish breakfast sausages and rashers are sourced from Ballon Meats in Carlow who produce the best quality pork products - traceability and taste assured.


We are also proud of our fresh Irish tomatoes and mushrooms. Our tomatoes are grown at Keeling’s Farm in Rush in North County Dublin in the traditional manner and are always bursting with flavour! And our mushrooms are grown at Codd Farm in Tullow, Co. Carlow. 

Bread & Cakes


We’re very proud to bake the majority of our artisan breads in our own kitchens at Green & Baker. By doing this, we can guarantee quality and freshness in every bite. Our homemade soda brown bread is a real specialty, it's served daily with our homemade soups and will remind you of the bread your gran used to bake!


Our chefs bake our scones and traybakes every morning in our own kitchens so they are always fresh and tasty. 


We also source speciality artisan breads and patisserie cakes from Thunders Home Bakery. Thunders was established in 1969 and has a strong reputation as one of the finest home baking companies in Ireland.



All Green & Baker fresh chicken, turkey, beef and pork (including breakfast bacon and sausages) is Irish all year round. O’Mahony Meats, in business since 1961, supply all our meats we know it's always fresh, never frozen.


All our Pork is Irish and quality assured in terms of animal welfare, traceability, environmental impact and hygiene. Our Beef is all reared in local Irish farms, and specially selected for the high specifications that they guarantee. If you like good beef, you will taste the quality. We serve only Chicken reared to the highest standards by local producers in counties Cavan and Mayo. When sourcing Lamb, we are careful to only use the freshest local lamb in season from approved local farms. We will always source Irish lamb when in season but will supplement with meat from within Europe when need be.
